WHAT IS BAPTISM?
Baptism is an act of worship and obedience, demonstrating saving faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who commanded his followers to be baptized. At Paradox we practice baptism by immersion after a profession of faith in Jesus.
WHO SHOULD GET BAPTIZED?
People who have made a genuine profession of faith in Jesus ought to be baptized. We encourage you to follow Jesus in obedience and worship, and we would love to walk alongside you as you publicly declare your faith in him through baptism.
If you aren’t a follower of Jesus, or if you’re not sure what you believe about him, we would love to answer any questions you may have and help you to learn more about what it means to be a Christian.
